We are delighted to announce the Musical Theatre Workshop is coming to New Zealand once again and we would love your child to join us for a week of all things musical theatre. 


This is an amazing opportunity to work with Anton Luitingh and Duane Alexander, the award-winning Resident Director and Choreographer of the International touring Productions of ‘SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN’, THE SOUND OF MUSIC and now JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. They have over 16 years of experience in International Musicals under their belts including productions of ANNIE, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESSERT, CATS, CHICAGO, GREASE, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, EVITA, RENT, SUNSET BOULEVARD, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, JERSEY BOYS and many more.


MTW is focused Musical Theatre Triple Threat Training, in a safe, professional theatre environment that is stimulating, educational and entertaining. The workshops are suitable for any student with a passion for Musical Theatre. For students interested in embarking on a career in musical theatre, MTW creates a foundation to help them on their way, with up-to-date practical training in all facets of musical theatre, including vocal training, repertoire, dance, acting, audition preparation and improvisation.


Following on from successful Musical Theatre Workshops held in New Zealand over the past three years, Anton and Duane are coming back in July 2017: Auckland 10 – 15 and Wellington 17 – 22.

Dates:                WELLINGTON: Monday 17 – Saturday 22 July


Time:                  Monday – Friday

                        9am – 12pm: Juniors (age 7 – 13 years)

                         1pm – 5pm: Seniors (age 14+ years)


Showcase:            Saturday

                         Rehearsal (all groups: 9am – 2pm)

                         Showcase: 1pm – 2pm


Venue:                Wellington: Whitireia Performance Centre, Room T1, 25-27 Vivian Street, Wellington 


Cost:                   Juniors (7-13 years): $300; Seniors (14+ years): $400
